My capabilities

How can I help you?

I plan, design and build. Then I make sure people find what I built. Pick the problem that sounds most like yours.

Help! I need a website

A good website earns its keep. It brings in enquiries, strengthens your brand and, quite simply, makes the business more profitable. Doing business online has grown complicated, though, and a lot of sites have been left outdated or quietly broken along the way. That is where I come in.

Since 2026 I build websites as plain HTML, generated from content files, with no content management system behind them. No database to break, no plugins to update, nothing for anyone to hack, and pages that load in a blink. This site is built that way, and so are my agency sites in Hamburg and Mallorca. Changes go through me and are usually live the same day. If you would genuinely edit every day, I will say so and we plan for it.

And if I run your advertising, the website is free. Here is the deal.

What you get

  • Planning and structure before any pixels
  • Design that fits your brand, not a template
  • Works on every screen size
  • Plain HTML: no CMS, no plugins, no database
  • SEO, schema and analytics foundations built in
  • Changes done for you, usually the same day

Help! I need to sell online

An online store needs far more than a brochure site: a secure checkout, customer accounts, product options, shipping rules, gift cards and a catalogue that stays easy to manage as it grows.

I build stores on the platform that fits the size of the business rather than the size of the invoice, and keep the storefront as fast and plain as the platform allows. Then I set up the plumbing that makes a store pay: conversion tracking, automated emails and the campaigns that send people to it.

What you get

  • The platform chosen for your business, not for the invoice
  • Secure payments and customer accounts
  • Product catalogue set-up and training
  • Conversion tracking from day one
  • Automated order and abandoned-cart emails
  • Ongoing marketing once you are live

Help! Someone said I need better SEO

Almost 90% of online purchases start with a search engine. If you want to make money online you have to be in that space. The question is how.

I analyse and optimise your website and its content for the terms your target audience is using. That covers technical health, page structure, the content itself and links from sites that matter. No keyword guarantees, because nobody honest can give you one, but a clear plan and reporting that shows what moved.

What you get

  • Technical SEO audit and fixes
  • Page titles, headings and structure
  • Content that answers real questions
  • Local SEO for the Northern Beaches and Sydney
  • Links from relevant sites
  • Reporting in plain English

Help! Someone mentioned Facebook

I can manage your social networks, run advertising on your social profiles and work with you on a calendar of activity that encourages engagement and gets your message to the right people, without it eating your week.

Email is still one of the most effective ways to reach your audience and encourage repeat business. I help you send emails your subscribers will want to open, which is a very cost-effective way to drive incremental sales.

What you get

  • Content calendar and posting
  • Paid social campaigns
  • Newsletter set-up and templates
  • Automated welcome and follow-up emails
  • List growth that respects privacy law
  • Reporting on what actually converted

Help! Digital data is confusing

Reach rate, engagement rate, conversion rate: headache. The beauty of digital is that everything is trackable, but that means all kinds of data, reports and jargon that send some people running for the hills, and missing real opportunities on the way.

I work with your existing analytics or set it up from scratch, then build reports that make sense to you and tell you what to do next. You spend your time improving the business instead of ploughing through spreadsheets. Sound good?

What you get

  • Google Analytics 4 set-up and clean-up
  • Conversion and call tracking
  • Dashboards you will actually open
  • Consent-aware tracking that respects your visitors
  • Monthly insights with recommendations
  • Training so you can read it yourself

Help! I need a digital pair of hands

Sometimes you just need a bit of short-term (or long-term) help. I do project-based work with individuals, brands, agencies, the public sector and anyone else looking for a digital specialist to complete their team and get the job done.

That variety has given me experience across a wide range of sectors and initiatives, which means I hit the ground running and make a difference to your business fast.

What you get

  • Producer or project lead on digital builds
  • White-label work for agencies
  • Cover for parental leave or busy periods
  • Audits and second opinions
  • Fixed-scope or day-rate engagements
  • Remote, or on site around Sydney

Questions I get asked

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what the site needs to do. A brochure site with a handful of pages and an online store with a hundred products are very different jobs. Tell me what you need and I will give you a fixed quote rather than an hourly guess. There is no charge for the conversation. And if I run your advertising, there is no charge for the website either: see the offer on the blog.

How long does it take?

A brochure site typically takes two to four weeks once the content is ready. The Dog House Manly went live in two weeks. Online stores and larger builds take six to ten weeks. Content is usually what sets the pace, so I help with that too.

Do you only build new websites?

No. A lot of my work is fixing, redeveloping or migrating sites that already exist. If your site is slow, broken, impossible to edit or stuck on an old platform, that is exactly the sort of job I like.

Which platforms do you work with?

Plain HTML for most websites, generated from content files with no content management system behind it. This site, my Hamburg agency site and my Mallorca agency site are all built that way. Online stores go on the platform that fits the business. A CMS only where someone genuinely edits every day.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

For most sites you will not need to: send me the change and it is usually live the same day. If you will genuinely edit every day, say so at the start and we plan the site around it, CMS included. Calling me is still allowed.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The domain, the hosting account, the code and the content are yours from day one. I set things up in your name and hand over every login.

Do you work with businesses outside the Northern Beaches?

Yes. I am based in Manly and most of my clients are in Sydney, but I have built sites for businesses in Hamburg and run campaigns for clients across Australia and Europe. Everything can be done remotely, and I still like a coffee in person when geography allows.

What does being a Google Partner mean?

Google certifies partners who pass its advertising exams, manage a healthy level of ad spend and apply its recommended practices in client accounts. It is renewed every year. In short: Google has checked my work.

Let’s talk about your next digital project

No obligation, no jargon, and it costs nothing. Tell me what you need or what is not working and I will tell you what I would do.
