Trusty’s old website was a thing of beauty, fifteen years ago. The owner decided it was time for a change and started sketching the concept for a new site with his mates. My job was to turn those ideas into a website that works.
Background
An outdated site that did not work on a phone, and a brand with far more personality than its website let on. Trusty Boxes make boxes, and they take their fun seriously.
The process
We started with nothing but ideas and a rough design captured on video. Step one was to agree a process and get to something resembling a desktop design. Step two was the fun part: translating a very individual design into a responsive site that works on a phone, including a bespoke menu and a few custom pieces that no off-the-shelf theme would have handled.
Outcome
The new site puts Trusty Boxes at the front of the pack, with a website to match their products. In David’s words, nothing was ever a problem and the tricky custom bits were built with perfection. I will take that.
“Philipp from Digital Freelancer has been a blast to work with. We had the concept and Philipp made it happen. Well organised, nothing was ever a problem, and the tricky custom bits were built with perfection. Do yourself a favour and get Digital Freelancer on the case.”
